Where BypassGPT is stronger

Good reasons to pick BypassGPT instead:

  • It works in a browser

BypassGPT is a web app,1 so you can use it on a laptop or a shared computer. HumanGPT is iPhone-only for now, and its web editor isn't live yet.

  • Plans for heavy use

Unlimited ($39 a month or $228 a year) is advertised with no word limits, and every paid plan can be billed monthly.3 HumanGPT Pro is weekly or yearly, with 50,000 words a week under fair use.

  • An API for developers

After a small free allowance, plans run from $49 a month, or $30 billed annually, for 50,000 words up to 5,000,000 words a month.4 White-label and affiliate programmes exist too.9 HumanGPT has no API.

  • More languages

The site comes in 19 languages, and BypassGPT says it paraphrases in more than 50.1 The HumanGPT app interface is in English, German, Spanish and French.

Where HumanGPT is different

We didn't find these features described in BypassGPT's sources.

  • Facts and sources get checked

Each rewrite gets an integrity check on facts, numbers and citations, and drafts with figures, names or references get a separate fact-check pass.

  • Tone, strength and your voice

Pick natural, casual, professional, academic or friendly, set the strength and choose a text type. On Pro, voice matching rewrites in the style of a sample you provide.

  • Fix one sentence at a time

The AI-likeness estimate marks sentences that still read like AI. On Pro you can rewrite just those and keep the rest as it is.

How the rewriting differs

HumanGPT rewrites with Anthropic Claude models, following the open-source humanizer skill and its 26 patterns from Wikipedia's "Signs of AI writing", such as staged openers and leftover chatbot phrases.1314 You set the tone, strength and text type.

BypassGPT says its model was trained on "over 200 million" AI-generated and human-written texts, and its homepage says it helps "bypass AI detection from even the most advanced AI detectors on the market".1 We haven't tested that. HumanGPT makes no promises about detector scores.

Questions about HumanGPT and BypassGPT

Is HumanGPT an alternative to BypassGPT?

It can be, if you write on an iPhone. Both rewrite AI drafts and include an AI check; HumanGPT adds fact and citation checks and tone and voice controls. If you need a browser tool, an API or a very large monthly allowance, BypassGPT may suit you better, because the HumanGPT web editor isn't live yet.

Can HumanGPT promise my text won't be flagged by an AI detector?

No. No tool can promise how a detector, a teacher or an editor will judge a text, and HumanGPT doesn't try to. It rewrites your draft so it reads naturally and shows an AI-likeness estimate, which is an estimate and not a verdict. Follow the rules of your school or workplace.

Is there an official BypassGPT iPhone app?

We didn't find one. None of the bypassgpt.ai pages we checked link to an app store, and none of the App Store apps named BypassGPT lists bypassgpt.ai as its website.

How much does BypassGPT cost compared with HumanGPT?

BypassGPT is free for 150 words a month, with paid plans from $12 a month or $96 a year. HumanGPT is free for 300 words a day, and Pro costs $5.99 a week with a 3-day free trial or $39.99 a year in the US. Prices change, so check both before you buy.
