  • Many tools in one plan

Premium includes a paraphraser with 9 modes, plagiarism checks for 25,000 words a month, a summarizer and a translator for 40+ languages.1 HumanGPT focuses on humanizing.

Where HumanGPT is different

  • Facts and numbers get checked

Each rewrite gets an integrity check for facts, numbers and citations, then a fact-check pass when needed. QuillBot's humanizer page doesn't describe a separate check.3

  • Start from a photo or a link

Scan a page with on-device OCR, or import a Google Doc, a web link or a .txt file; PDF and Word need Pro. QuillBot's help center describes uploading files such as DOCX or TXT to its Paraphraser,5 and its iPhone app's AI Chat accepts photos and PDFs.2

  • An app in four languages

The HumanGPT app is in English, German, Spanish and French. QuillBot's iPhone app lists English only.2

How the rewriting differs

HumanGPT rewrites with Anthropic Claude models, guided by the open-source humanizer skill and its 26 patterns from Wikipedia's "Signs of AI writing".1011 You choose the tone, strength and text type, and Pro adds voice matching.

QuillBot describes humanizing as keeping your text largely the same while changing sentence structure, length and word choice to remove AI "tells", without changing the meaning.3

Questions about HumanGPT and QuillBot

Is HumanGPT an alternative to QuillBot?

For humanizing on an iPhone, it can be. Both rewrite AI drafts and rate how AI-like a text reads, and HumanGPT also checks facts, numbers and citations. For paraphrasing, plagiarism checks or work on a laptop, QuillBot covers more.

Is QuillBot's humanizer free, and what does Premium cost?

Free accounts can humanize up to 100 words, with limited usage. In the US App Store, QuillBot Premium is $19.99 a month or $99.99 a year. HumanGPT Pro is $5.99 a week or $39.99 a year (US prices). Prices change, so check both before you buy.

Can HumanGPT promise my text won't be flagged as AI?

No. No tool can promise how a detector, a teacher or an editor will judge a text, and HumanGPT doesn't try to. It rewrites your draft so it reads naturally and shows an AI-likeness estimate, which is an estimate and not a verdict. Follow the rules of your school or workplace.

Does QuillBot use my text to train its AI?

QuillBot's privacy policy says it may use the data it collects, including your content, to train its AI models, except Team Plan text inputs. HumanGPT processes your text only to produce your result, as its privacy policy explains.
